Italian art is one of Italy’s source of pride. From ancient Rome, but especially during the Renaissance and Baroque revolution, the Italians were the prophets and kings of culture and art. What made Italian art so special? Who are the classical artists that conquered art history? How did it influence the modern and contemporary art of Italy? This lecture will overlook the history of Italian art and attempt to answer these questions.

  • The six lectures are a series. Mandatory FREE registration at the bottom of this page. For further information, please contact the Italian Cultural Institute of Haifa at 04-8536091.
