At the 34th Haifa International Film Festival, a docu-film by Stefano Veneruso, with Massimo Troisi, Michael Radford, Luise Bacalov, Vittorio Cecchi Gori, Anna Pavignano, Roberto Perpignani, Philippe Noiret.
A conversation with Stefano Veneruso will follow the screening.
Stefano Veneruso began his career as an assistant director on the set of Michael Redford’s The Postman. At the same time he shot this making-of documentary, capturing both cast and crew behind and in front of the camera.
- Stefano Veneruso: “I tried to convey not only the emotions on the set, but also the testimonies of those who collaborated in harmony with the making of the film. It was enough to observe the looks, the silences, the small daily gestures, to understand the great humanity and professionalism of two masters of the international cinema: Massimo Troisi and Philippe Noiret.”
