Nina, a single mother, moves from Milan to a small village in the Lombardy countryside, where she has found work in a luxury care home. It is an elegant, almost fairytale world. However, she soon discovers a system of small sexual favors that escalates into sexual assault, aided by the silent complicity of the victims.
- Nina’s quest to seek justice brings her face to face with the cultural and institutional mechanisms that allowed for the harassment in the first place.
