For the series “Secret Italy. The Northern art cities”, a lecture by Dr. Efi Ziv, art historian, in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Haifa.
Parma | Stronghold of the Farnese family, dominated by the figure of Antonio Allegri called il Correggio, leader of the Parma mannerism, whose masterpieces populate most of the main buildings of the city: the monastery of San Paolo, the church of San Giovanni, the dome of the Cathedral.
Dr. Efi Ziv, lecturer, writer and tourist guide, received his Ph.D in Greek Mythology from the University of Louisiana, a B.A. in Art History from the University of Tel Aviv and his M.A. in International Relations from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The list of his publications includes Mythology today, The games of the Gods, The Secrets of the Olympian Gods.
