For the series “The Italian concerts of the Haifa Chamber Music Society”, an exciting show dedicated to children (and their parents) and produced by the New Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv. Event organized in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Haifa.
It was as if a blizzard had passed through grandmother’s kitchen. White flour covered everything. Gioacchino Rossini, seven years old, was standing on the table and looked like an old dwarf with white hair and flourish eyebrows. “What’s going on here?” Asked Grandma. “Maybe it’s better if you go to school. You’re always in the kitchen. You never study … At least go to play a little outside!”. “I don’t want to!” Replied little Rossini. “I like to play, but I like to cook more!” A fun show with slightly crazy characters and songs from Rossini’s works, recited and sung. Excerpts from “Cinderella”, “The Barber of Seville”, “Tarantella”, “Funny duet of two cats” and more. With singers, musicians and dancers.
