On the occasion of the Holiday of the Holidays 2018, for the series “The Italian concerts of the Haifa Chamber Music Society”, a concert by the Tel Aviv Soloists Ensemble. Event organized in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Haifa.
A concert with the world famous counter-tenor Andreas Scholl, who has forged a close relationship with the Tel Aviv Ensemble and scored strong performance in the last few years. Scholl and the Ensemble will perform a varied program ranging from baroque music to British folk songs. Watch Scoll singing Vivaldi.
Founded in 2001 by conductor Barak Tal (the Ensemble’s current Music Director), the Tel Aviv Soloists Ensemble comprises 30 of Israel’s finest young musicians (ages 20-35), among them players in leading Israeli chamber groups, young soloists and winners of competitions. It was formed out of the desire to create a young Israeli professional chamber orchestra of the highest standard. It is recognized today as a vibrant, fresh voice in Israeli classical music.
