Within the framework of the The world in the mirror of cinema series, a lecture by Roni Ianovaslki, folloiwed by the screening of The Leisure Seeker (2017), a movie by Paolo Virzì, with Donald Sutherland and Helen Mirren. Cinema is a concise language that manifests itself in a variety of forms and expressions. Through the camera lenses, the series looks at society, at human beings and at the different visions of the world that each one carries within himself. In this lecture Roni Ianovaslki will talk about that Ella and John’s last journey towards paradise.
The Leiusure Seeker (2017): The film stars Academy Award-winner Helen Mirren and two-time Golden Globe-winner Donald Sutherland as a runaway couple going on an unforgettable journey in the faithful old RV they call The Leisure Seeker, travelling from Boston to The Ernest Hemingway Home in Key West. They recapture their passion for life and their love for each other on a road trip that provides revelation and surprise right up to the very end.
