‘Enrico Piaggio: An Italian dream’, is a 2019 television film directed by Umberto Marino, about the life of Enrico Piaggio, played by Alessio Boni. It is the story of a brand, of an invention, of a man struggling with the economic crisis of the Second World War. Given the difficulties faced by his aircraft company, Piaggio understood the need to diversify production and put an innovative, nimble and, above all, affordable means of transport on the market.
