FLAUTATA VOCE xx is a female voice in the Contemporary Classical Music.
The project investigates the fascinating connection between the human voice and the flute and aims to support the work of women composers exploring this unique synergy.
Italy-based soprano Ana Spasić and London-based flautist Sara Minelli present an extremely rare selection of solo and duo pieces written between 1992 and 2016 by women composers from Finland, Israel, Italy, Russia, Yugoslavia, UK, USA. The International program combines different styles of music and includes works by leading composers, pieces written especially for Ana and Sara and a new piece by Hana Ajiashvili commissioned by the Vox Feminae Festival and just premiered at Tel Aviv.
