For the series: I RECYCLE, I GET DIRTY, I ENJOY IT! | Creative workshop for children, an event dedicated to our youngest friends, by Silvia De Stefani.
Program:
With the younger group, we will create photo frames from recycled cardboard. We will talk about cardboard and what it normally contains. We will “study” together the geometry of shapes. We will cut, glue, color and decorate our frames, which we will hang at home with our favorite photos.
With the older group, we will create a useful pen holder from toilet paper rolls and old CDs. We will wrap both rolls and CDs with multicolored paper to create a useful object to give as a gifts or to use to collect our crayons, pens or stationery materials and organize/personalize our desk.
The lab has four goals:
- To entertain our little friends (and their parents);
- To stimulate creativity in children;
- To create a recycling culture;
- To rediscover the Italian language through different activities.
The two monthly workshops will be scaled according to age groups
(From 3 to 7 years, from 8 to 12 years old)
NB: In these laboratories, children must wear clothes which can get dirty.
Because I recycle, I get dirty, I enjoy it!
Event held in Italian.
