On the occasion of the International Commedia dell’Arte Day 2020 and the holidays of Carnival and Purim, we are please to introduce you to a workshop on the movements of the Commedia dell’Arte, led by Carlo Dalla Costa (Italy). Event held in English and organized in collaboration with Scapino Theater Company and Zygota dance theater.
During the three hours we work on the training, asking us how is possible to work with body in a theatrical dimension and after how is possible to use this training in the work of Commedia dell’Arte.
In the second part of the workshop we work on the relations between the bodies in the space and in the specific space of Commedia dell’Arte, also using the body’s sections, as the characters of Commedia.. In this section we also work on the neutral mask and on the minimum use of the body.
After, using the musica, we will use the bodies of the specific characters of Commedia with their emotional state.
At the end, if there will be time, we create small sotries (“lazzi” the name used by Commedia)

Minimum age to participate in the workshop: 18 years.
