For the series The Italian concerts of the Chamber Music Society, three concerts played with original instruments by the Italian baroque trio “Il Rossignolo” (Martino Noferi, Marica Testi, Ottaviano Tenerani). Tournée organized by the Haifa Chamber Music Society and the Italian Cultural Institute of Haifa, in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of Tel Aviv and the Dante Alighieri Society of Jerusalem.

Internationally acclaimed as “one of the finest Italian groups of early music” for its interpretative verve which combines “extraordinary and inspired vitality with philological authenticity”, Il Rossignolo is an ensemble – whose component parts vary on the basis of repertoire – which specializes in the study and performance of early music played on historical instruments. The group was founded
and is coordinated by flute players Marica Testi and Martino Noferi and harpsichordist Ottaviano Tenerani, who is also the conductor.
