For the series “THE ITALIAN CONNECTION” | THE HIDDEN AND THE VISIBLE IN ANCIENT AKKO, a lecture and guided tour dedicated to the role of Italy in the preservation of Acre’s architectonic, artistic and archaeological heritage. Lecturers: Mr. David Shushan e Dr. Shelley-Anne Peleg.
The contribution to the conservation of Acco by Italian companies, which produce and import materials and restoration technologies in Israel. The past challenges to preserve Acco and the conceptual flexibility that has led to success in the present. Examples from the past, the current situation and prospects for the future.
During the meeting we will visit the walls on the sea front and the most modern study center for the management of lime plasters in the marine environment.
