- How will be my HOUSE in Italy ( facilitate discussion about plans, opportunities, relationships, daily life)
- Guided imagery.
A bit of theory:
- House as a metaphor of identity in transition (Bauman, 2003; Papadopoulos, 2013)
Objectives:
- Raise awareness about migration phenomenon and its opportunities.
- Help envision prospective house and self;
- Strengthen motivation and resilience.
The seminar aims at providing theoretical and practical tools to facilitate the integration in a new socio-cultural context, namely the Italian culture. The seminar is offered to prospective students and expats in Italy.

Marta Longu holds a Master’s Degree in Social Psychology from the University of Cagliari and a Masters in Refugee Care from the University of Essex and Tavistock Clinic, United Kingdom.
