Is there perhaps a similitude between the ingenuity used in the construction of the city of Venice in the fifth century and that used in wines from Veneto? Perhaps the similitude goes further than that, and can be extended to ideas of quality, obtained out of mere ingenuity, which are brilliant enough for them to become a tradition?

Amiel Herszage completed his PhD in mechanical engineering at the Israel Institute of Technology (Technion, Haifa) in 1995. Since then he has worked in the area of computation and as a consultant in various fields. At the same time, Dr. Herszage completed the first of two semesters to achieve the WSET Diploma in Wines, Qualification Level of Wine Specialist, at the WSET School, London, UK.
