TRIPTYCH: THREE CENTURIES OF ITALIAN ART, with Nathalie Andrijasevic | Series of three lectures (in Hebrew, online)

In each of the three lectures included in the new series, we will focus on a painting style or an artistic movement that emerged in a particular geographic region during the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries. We will begin in 17th century Naples, and study artists who were inspired by the baroque artist Caravaggio; we will continue with the painters of the city of Venice, which was one of the main tourist destinations of the 18th century; and we will conclude our journey in Tuscany with a group of artists who worked during the dawn of modernism and in the spirit of the 19th century national awakening movement.
