An exhibition curated by Roberto Dulio<\/em> \ud83c\udf9f\ufe0f BOOK YOUR TICKET NOW<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n A refined and poignant tribute to Ghitta Carell<\/strong> (1899\u20131972), one of the most sought-after portrait photographers in twentieth-century Italy. Her elegant and incisive portraits offer a unique window into the cultural and social life of her era.<\/p>\n The exhibition, hosted in the atmospheric rooms of Villa Necchi Campiglio, features over one hundred original works\u2014including photographs, letters, books, postcards, and for the first time, Carell\u2019s own photographic equipment.<\/p>\n Curated by Roberto Dulio, the display offers an intimate, immersive experience: images are integrated within the villa\u2019s historical furnishings, allowing visitors to enter a space where art and life harmoniously intertwine.<\/p>\n Particularly notable are portraits of architect Piero Portaluppi<\/strong>, sisters Nedda and Gigina Necchi<\/strong>, and a young Giulia Maria Crespi<\/strong>\u2014founder of FAI.<\/p>\n Carell\u2019s life and legacy, marked by success, silence, and rediscovery, come full circle in this homage co-sponsored by the Italian Cultural Institute of Haifa<\/span>, where part of her archive is kept.<\/p>\n The exhibition is accompanied by two major publications:
