Napoli Teatro Festival Italia is an international theatre festival that takes place every year in Naples in the months of June and July. The event retraces Mark David Chapman’s sad feats in a musical and scenic key, who became from Beatles fan to murder of John Lennon.

If someone had asked Mark David Chapman who The Beatles were, he could have talked for hours and maybe he would have ended up comparing John to The Catcher in the Rye. When he was arrested, he was still holding Salinger’s book. Nearby, Lennon’s body. With five gunshots, the former chubby boy from Honolulu took the life of John, the dream of The Beatles and that of millions of fans. Chapman lives his story again, in a hallucinating flashback marked by the music, with the most famous band of all time.
