WHEN DESIGN, ARCHITECTURE & ART MEET | Series of online lectures

In the context of the Italian Design Day 2020, a new series of six, free-of-charge, online lectures on contemporary Italian design, architecture and art, by Olga Vanoncini. In order to receive the link to the Zoom meeting, it is necessary to send an email to iichaifa@esteri.it. The link will be valid for all six meetings. Event in held Italian.

Come quando design, architettura e arte si incontrano (When design, architecture and art meet) is a series of six lectures on contemporary Italian design, architecture and art organized by the Italian Cultural Institute in Haifa.
The series is conceived and conducted by Olga Vanoncini.
The lectures are held in Italian, via Zoom.
Through the central theme of design, we will discover connections, encounters and exchanges with other disciplines in twentieth century and new millennium Italy: primarily architecture and art, but also comics, restoration, theater and advertising. The Italian designers (and not only) that we will meet are: Massimo Giacon, Anna Castelli Ferrieri, Gae Aulenti, Joe Colombo, Fortunato Depero, Carlo Scarpa.

 The program of the series

Olga Vanoncini (Bergamo, Italy, 1978), MFA, visual artist and educator, lives and works in Tel Aviv, Israel, since 2014. In 2018 she opened in Tel Aviv Olga Vanoncini Studio - Educational Startup & Experimental Space - where she creates workshops of Italian creativity and culture. She is co-curator of the cultural project The Blank TR - Transit Message, which in 2018 she brought from Italy to Israel under the patronage of the Italian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv. After the experiences of university teaching in the contemporary art sector in Italy, in Israel she specialized in teaching Italian as a foreign language. She is pursuing a PhD in Art History at the University of Haifa, Israel.
