Except for Leopardi, Francesco Maria Piave was the greatest Italian poet of the nineteenth century. A provocation.
An in depth analysis of Verdi’s most loved librettos, in close connection, of course, with his music.

  • FREE admission. In order to receive the link to the Zoom meeting, it is necessary to send an email to iichaifa@esteri.it. The link will be valid for all six meetings.

He was a professor of music history at the Hebrew University for several years, editor-in-chief at the Deutsche Grammophon in Hamburg, director of the National Music Library and the National Sound Archives in Jerusalem, as well as director and host of music programs for Radio3 Rai.
