Innovation in the wine industry is nowadays a widely discussed topic. Innovation has a very important role in the Italian wine industry, helping the producer to optimize efforts, augment yields, and offer better products. We will speak of examples of ingenuity in the Italian wine industry contributing to its growth. However, on a more general note, it is interesting to observe how Italian wine producers plan and carry out projects of this kind, based on the vital instruments provided by the European Community. The latter reflects an awareness of the scale of the projects- too large for a single winery- and an approach often not kept in mind today.

  • FREE admission. In order to receive the link to the Zoom meeting, it is necessary to send an email to iichaifa@esteri.it.

Amiel Herszage completed his PhD in mechanical engineering at the Israel Institute of Technology (Technion, Haifa) in 1995. Since then he has worked in the area of computation and as a consultant in various fields. At the same time, Dr. Herszage completed the first of two semesters to achieve the WSET Diploma in Wines, Qualification Level of Wine Specialist, at the WSET School, London, UK.
