In times of conflict, the social and mental well-being of directly or indirectly involved individuals can be affected. Studies have shown that yoga not only provides anxiety related relief, but also acts through the cell survival mechanisms, thus improving the overall health of the practitioner. Hence, Yoga and Mindfulness are effective methods of stress alleviation and quality of life improvement.
RELAX, BREATHE, CLEAR THE MIND, OPEN YOUR HEART is a series of short video which present some basic, practical resources of yoga and meditation technique that can be included in everyone’s daily routine. The suggested exercises can be practiced by anyone and do not require previous experience.
Our teachers are Ilan Goldwasser, an Iyengar yoga teacher and founder of Yoga Marga, and Yochai Holtzman, an Iyengar yoga teacher and practitioner of Vipassana Meditation.
