The Price of Freedom, the Power of Desire | The Fall edition of the 2025 Book Club invites us to reflect on the many ways freedom and desire take shape in each of our lives—the freedom to choose, to love, to change, and to imagine a different future. Through three powerful, deeply human novels, the series explores the tensions between personal aspiration and social constraint, the fragility of feelings, and the pull of passion that shapes our choices. A literary journey through identity, dreams, and self-awareness—for those who see reading as a way to know oneself, find a mirror in others, and discover the humanity we share.
