XXXI Haifa International Film Festival9 ITALIAN MOVIES AT THE HAIFA FILM FESTIVALHaifa, September 26th – October 5th, 2015 Nine Italian movies will be screened at the XXXI Haifa International Film Festival, one of the most important and representative international film festivals in Israel (@ Secret Tel Aviv). Italy presents some very recent productions, which have already been appreciated by both critics and general public, such as "Tale of Tales" by Matteo Garrone, selected for the 2015 Cannes Festival, "Black Souls" by Saverio Costanzo, based on Gioacchino Criaco homonymous novel, "Sworn Virgin" by Laura Bispuri, with Alba Rohrwacher, "Antonia" by Ferdinando Cito Filomarino, "You Can't Save Yourself Alone" by Sergio Castellitto, "Wondrous Boccaccio" by Paolo and Vittorio Taviani and "Blood of My Blood" by Marco Bellocchio, the last one directly from the 2015 Venezia Film Festival.The program includes also the screening of the masterpieces " Amarcord" by Federico Fellini and "Rocco and His Brothers" by Luchino Visconti.The Italian participation in the Festival, which will close on October 5th, has been organized in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Haifa.Further info on this event will be available shortly.
