Born in Naples in 1963, Morgera started playing in Florence in the 1980s, and attended classes with Gaslini and Rava. He moved to the USA in 1990 where he has been living and working ever since. He has been a member of Butch Morris Nublu Orchestra for a number of years now. His latest CD Need for Peace he teems up with some of the best players and vocalists in New York to create a beautiful and ambitious recording.
