XIII Edition of the Italian Language Week around the World and BIBLIOPRIDE eventREADING ENTERTAINMENT AND CREATIVITYReading activities for Italian speaking children, by anf with Maria Gavina Manca. In the occasion of the XIII edition of the Italian Language Week around the World: "Research, discovery, innovation: Italy, land of knowledge" and the BIBLIOPRIDE 2013, the Italian Cultural Institute in Haifa organizes a free evening open to all Italian speaking children and their familes, during which we will:Play, by reading over and again various books, realizing that: – there aren't boring books;- children books are not just for children; – reading together is more nourishing than eating nutella- a book may become a multi-sense learning experience- a book is a perfect tool to play and spend time withBuild our own books and: – enhance all our senses – discover that every object has something unique to tell us – that everything can be seen, touched, smelled, tasted and can have different meanings- that many things together can tell something else alltogether, and- that with them we can build books: small, big, made of paper, wood, plastic, monocrome, multicolor, monoshape, multishape…..etc. etc.Understand that the Italian language is a live language and that it: – can be used to tell, discover and invent something new – helps to explain and share our feelings – connects to a world, which is far away, but is very much real – belongs to other children and adults, not only to our own family and parentsNB: in order to better organize the evening and prepare what is required, we would like to know the name, age and level of Italian skills of all partecipant children. Please confirm your partecipation, possibly by Friday, October 11th, either via e-mail at iichafa@esteri.it or via telephone at 04-8536091.
