He continued his studies with Andrea Lucchesini at the Accademia di Musica in Pinerolo and with Aldo Ciccolini in Paris, followed by Nicholas Angelich at the Conservatoire National Superior de Musique as well as with Marie Françoise Bucquet. He has also worked with Leon Fleisher, Richard Goode, Robert McDonald and Mitsuko Uchida. From autumn 2015 he teaches at the Accademia di Musica in Pinerolo. Recipient of a 2010 Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship Award, Gabriele is a pianist equally at home in recital, as a soloist with orchestras, and as a chamber musician. Praised by the Süddeutsche Zeitung as a "sculptor of sound" and "aesthete" after his Munich debut at the Herkulessaal, Gabriele is the winner of numerous awards, including the Casella Prize at the Competition Premio Venezia, where he made his debut at Teatro La Fenice. He has been supported by the CRT Foundation, De Sono Foundation and was also awarded a grant from the Fondation des Banques Populaires Françaises – Natexis in 2008.The Tel Aviv Wind Quintet was founded in 2009 by young Israeli musicians, seeking to bring the existing Repertoire as well as commissioned works to wider audiences. The ensemble has performed at some of Israel's most prestigious venues, such as the YMCA (at the Jerusalem International Chamber Music Festival), the Jerusalem Music Centre, the Mormon University, Henry Crown Hall in the Jerusalem Theater, the Israel Conservatory and the Tel-Aviv Museum. Awarded the Eilam prize for Israeli performers (2011). In addition to their work with the TAWQ, the quintet's musicians are also active as soloists, working and collaborating with international orchestras and musicians such as Daniel Barenboim, James Levine, Guy Braunshtein, Martha Argerich, Pierre Boulez and Andras Schiff. An integral part of the Quintet's credo is to perform and record music by leading Israeli composers of both the younger and the older generation, such as Menachem Zur, Ari Ben Shabtai, Arie Shapira, Amit Gilutz and Tzvi Avni. The TAWQ is currently recording its debut album, expected to be released in 2016.
