Reading workshops for Italian speaking children, by and with Maria Gavina Manca.
I LOOK INSIDE, I LOOK OUTSIDE. STORIES OF PERSPECTIVESReading workshops for Italian speaking children, by and with Maria Gavina Manca. How works of art like the Opera House in Sydney,Casa Batllò in Barcellona, Milano's Duomo came to live? What would the buildings say if they could talk? And if they had eyes? What do their walls hide?We will be the architects, the builders, the inhabitants of new custom made cities. We will ponder on appareance and substance, form and content, "outside" and "inside",on what you can see and on what is hidden away, learning to see behind the facade and to open closed doors. Program- Let us observe stories from half closed windows;- Let us draw new games on the walls;- Let us open the doors to new adventures. This workshop has four goals:- To Reflect on the "inside" and the "outside" in many different ways;- To Guide children to love and enjoy reading, individually and in a group;- To Stimulate children creativity;- To Rediscover the Italian language through different activities. PS: in order to better organize the evening and prepare what is required, we would like to know the name, age and level of Italian skills of all participating children.
