Israel–Palestine. Two histories, one hope (Editori Riuniti – 400 pages), a book based mainly on information obtained from seven archives: the National Archives and Records Administration in Washington; The National Archive (ex Public Record Office) in London; the Israel State Archive in Jerusalem; the United Nations Archives in New York; the Central Zionist Archive in Jerusalem; the Archivio Storico–Diplomatico at the Foreign Ministry in Rome; and the Israel Defence Force Archive in Tel–Hashomer (Tel Aviv).Lorenzo Kamel was awarded a degree (BA + MA) in Philosophy from the Università La Sapienza in Rome, with a final score of 110/110 cum laude. He is currently studying at Hebrew University of Jerusalem for the two–year Master “Society and Politics in Israel”. For several years he has been carrying out research on Middle East topics in archives and libraries, in America, Israel, England and Italy.
