Paola Caridi (Lettera 22/Il Riformista) e Alberto Stabile (La Repubblica)

Paola Caridi, journalist and historian, has been living in the Middle East since 2001, first in Cairo and then, for the past six years, in Jerusalem. She’s been contributing articles to such magazines and newspapers as l’Espresso, Il Sole24Ore and Lettera 22 of which she is a co-founder. Among her publications: Arabi Invisibili (Invisible Arabs), Feltrinelli 2008 and Hamas e cosa vuole il movimento radicale palestinese (Hamas and what the Palestinian radical movement wants), Feltrinelli 2009. Alberto Stabile started his career as a journalist with the Sicilian daily L'Ora for which he worked until 1979, when he went on to work for La Repubblica, a paper which he had contributed to found in 1976. For La Repubblica, he has been working in Israel as a correspondent from the Middle East for some time. He is an expert on Israel society and politics and he is also the author of Palestina, Giunti 2008.
