Event supported by the Italian Cultural Institute in Haifa.The Logos Nation's Culture (Isfya, Daliat El Carmel) and the City of Haifa are honored to invite all the friends of the Italian Cultural Institute to the I.G.F Gold Star Award, the International Folklore Oscar Ceremony, which will take place on Thursday, October 22nd, at 18:30, in the theater and lobby of the Beit Aba Hushi Community Center ( rehov Aba Hillel Silver 71, Haifa). Doors will close at 19:00. For the first time since the I.G.F. Union foundation in 1949, the Gold Star Ceremony will be held in Israel. Two Italian representatives of the Italian folk tradition are among the six nominees for the prize: Mr. Tobia Rinaldo, founder and artistic director of "I Cariddi" folk dance and music group, and Mr. Gerardo Bonifati, artistic director of the Castrovillari Pro Loco folk group. Both of them will be present at the event.
