The traditional paper library of our Institute has more than 7,500 volumes, which cover different areas: literature, fiction, history, art, non-fiction, music, etc.

The library database is continually being upgraded through our purchases of recent publications, shipments from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, gifts from publishing houses and donations from individuals.
Reading and borrowing

On-site reading/browsing of books/printed materials is open to all, by appointment (iichaifa@esteri.it. Books and magazines can be viewed in the reading room.
Members and students of the Institute may borrow printed books for periods not exceeding 14 days, though these may in turn be re-borrowed upon request for up to two times by telephone or by e-mail (iichaifa@esteri.it).

- Monday to Thursday: 10.00-16.00
- Friday: 09.30-12.30
