THE 21th INTERNATIONAL CARTOON CONTEST IN HAIFAEVENT ORGANIZED WITH THE SUPPORT OF THE ITALIAN CULTURAL INSTITUTE IN HAIFAThe two themes of this year are: “Freedom of Speech” and “Life in Multi Cultural Cities.”The general public will be exposed in the Cartoon Exhibition to visual messages having an educational-cultural value of diverse significance. The Cartoon Contest fosters a humoristic approach to life and strengths cultural ties with artists throughout the worldLet us all continue to enjoy caricatures, absorb their hidden meanings and laugh, laugh, laugh.…..The Cartoon Exhibition represents an attraction for tens of thousands of visitors to Haifa, the Capital of the North, and has been known to be a resounding success. This event receives considerable praise from the many visitors every year. We have received works of art from 390 artists from 61 Countries.The Prize Awarding Ceremony will take place on Thursday, October 24th, 2015 at 18.00, in the lobby of Haifa Auditorium, in the presence of the Mayor of Haifa, Mr.Yona Yahav, the Diplomatic corps and the artists.Cultural Program* Light Music Performance* Opening ceremony* Greetings
